My journey into travel and exploration began in the heart of the Midwest, where family vacations meant summer trips to the Lake of the Ozarks or occasional {long} drives to Disney World. Those experiences sparked a love for travel that later grew into a passion for exploring new places and helping others do it too.

As I got older, I embraced opportunities to explore more widely, venturing across the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, and Mexico. Among all the remarkable places I've visited, a trip to Hawaii with my family holds a special place in my heart.

My journey into travel planning began when I became a first-time mom. I found myself constantly searching for new and exciting activities to do with my small children in the DC area. What started as a simple email list of weekly events for a local mothers' group evolved into Beltway Bambinos, a blog dedicated to helping DC-area families discover the countless enriching experiences the city has to offer. For over eleven years, I've guided families in creating memories through urban exploration and family adventures.

Now, as the founder of Beltway Travel and travel advisor for Mango Tree Travel, I'm excited to expand my scope from local discovery to worldwide adventures, helping clients plan unforgettable vacations and lifetime experiences. I bring the same dedication to creating enriching, memorable experiences that I do with Beltway Bambinos to planning international travel opportunities for families and individuals alike.

When I'm not planning adventures or exploring new destinations, you'll find me at home in Washington, DC, with my husband, two children, and our golden retriever, Birdie. I'm an avid restaurant explorer, always eager to try new cuisines and dining experiences. I enjoy playing pickleball and doing pilates, diving into a good book and spending time with friends and family.
